2018/2019 Kin Year in Review

 

Here are just some of the things your local Kinsmen Club accomplished in the past Kin year!

  • Attended our Fall Leadership Conference
  • Collected 800 pounds of food for the Lethbridge Food Bank during our Trick for Eats campaign
  • Celebrated Kin Canada’s 99th birthday
  • Celebrated the Lethbridge Kinsmen’s 91st birthday
  • Hosted a family Christmas party for members and guests
  • Donated money to purchase tents for the Lethbridge Arm Cadets
  • Helped paint rooms within the Family Centre
  • Ran fun casinos for corporate business parties and used the proceeds to support local youth!
  • Hosted K-40 (previous Kinsmen) Christmas party to connect with our past
  • Offered a Hal Rogers Bursary to a needy post-secondary student
  • Hosted the most profitable Mardi Gras Gala to date!
  • Participated in judging the Coalbanks School project fair
  • Attended our Spring Zones
  • Donated to the Leader in Me initiative in local schools
  • We received recognition for our support of the Leader in Me Program in Lethbridge Schools
  • Attended District Convention
  • Held a Great Strides Walk in support of CF research
  • Help fill Christmas hampers for the Lethbridge Food Bank
  • Helped Recondition the KIn Park within Lethbridge
  • Took plenty of time for fellowship between members. We get together for meals, drinks, BBQs, and to help each other move!
  • Hosted 10 General meetings
  • Hosted 10 Executive meetings
  • Moved the Kin Daddy vest to a new father
  • Cut a cheque to Ready Set Go for $22,000!
  • Hosted a family campout for members and guests
